Hello! My name is Jamal. I am a Warwick 2025 Mechanical engineering graduate. I am an accomplished individual with a keen desire to constantly learn and expand my skillset with the intention of trying new experiences.
I am a strong communicator and people-orientated person who enjoys learning from new people and understanding them. I am someone that finds satisfaction from helping people and providing the best service I can truly provide to them.
I have a particular interest in engineering design as well as media, design and editing, but also a keen eye on presentation, meeting new people and networking with them to build relationships and a positive outlook. I hope to pursue a career in engineering, communication-orientated roles or media design where I can expand my capacity for creativity, innovation and being a flawless communicator.
During my free time I enjoy playing golf, swimming, running, working on my personal project “Sanityfly” and from time to time drawing.

While my foundations have been laid out by my engineering experience through university, my heart lies beyond engineering in varying roles and opportunities beyond this heavily technical industry.
My experiences in biomedical research as well as stewarding have given me an outlook to explore a career in communication and being customer orientated as well. I have a keen eye for meeting the needs and wants of a customer, candidate or client and being able to empathise with them. I have a deep determination to provide satisfaction in whatever service I offer and thoroughly understanding a person and what they want.
For this reason, I believe roles beyond engineering, particularly in management and recruitment consulting also appeal greatly to me.
I believe I have the people-skills and confidence to negotiate and communicate effectively with many people of various backgrounds and provide an unforgettable service for them.
I am the type of person who strives for building a strong reputation whether that be for the company I work for, brand or even myself as an individual.
Satisfaction and putting a smile on people’s faces is a huge career motivation for me and there’s no doubt that exploring roles outside of engineering are certainly on my radar!
